Positive Reviews

Lovely location for exploring Philadelphia

Rittenhouse 1715 is located in a lovely Philadelphia neighborhood that puts you right near public transportation, and a lot of local sights accessible by walking. You can easily explore the city's markets, shopping, cultural venues, and eateries, and just enjoy people watching and architectural views.

Staff are very accommodating and welcoming

The staff are quite friendly and fun, and have upbeat, welcoming personalities that shine through. They're very attentive, and try to provide as many little details as possible that will enhance your stay. Their laid back yet professional demeanor are a lovely plus.

Amenities and breakfast are pleasant touches

The breakfast is tasty and filling, complemented by the hot beverages that are always available. Wine and cheese receptions are a nice touch, and add to the boutique atmosphere and warm reception that make this a great base for experiencing the city.

Negative Reviews

Thin walls and small rooms lower expectations

It's an unfortunate downside that the thin walls make you feel like there's little privacy between you and other guests. Although the rooms are delightfully decorated and cozy, they're also smaller than expected for the pricing and atmosphere.

Not as luxurious as the location suggests

Attempts at creating a setting that plays well off of the Rittenhouse neighborhood's luxury reputation fall short here. Many guests have found more opulent accommodations at or below the same pricing at other hotels, in and out of Philadelphia. The ideas and potential are there, just not fully realized.

Nothing else negative to say about this lodging

No other negative opinion has been expressed by the guests about these accommodations.
