Positive Reviews

Easy, convenient location

The Relaxia Jandia Luz is located right next to the beach, making it less than a minute walk away. You can also walk to shops, restaurants, pharmacies and supermarkets -- giving instant access to all your needs, guests remarked. The weekly outdoor market and a shopping mall is also nearby.

Compliments about breakfast

Guests said the breakfast was affordable and fair, with dishes like different types of eggs and pastries. They said the food was very affordable and that it was in general good for the price.

Good value for your money

If you're looking for a tidy, no-frills hotel in Hong Kong at an affordable price, this is a good bet. The rooms are spacious but not luxurious. If you're looking to spend most of your time exploring outside anyway, the price is ideal for a place to sleep.

Negative Reviews

You must pay for Wi-Fi

Be prepared to pay a daily fee for using Wi-Fi. Guests say that Wi-Fi is a standard amenity for most hotels and that charging a fee for it seems excessive. They also noted that the hotel added fees for things like a beach towel or to use the gym, and they felt they were being charged for a lot of things.

Beware on summer days

The room can get hot and stuffy in the summers. It doesn't help that there is no fan or air conditioning. It made for a very uncomfortable and hot stay for summer guests.

More catered towards German

Several guests said they felt like the hotel was catered for more German tourists and that people who came from other nations didn't feel quite at ease there. They perceived different customer service for guests who spoke German versus other languages.
