Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and Apple Macs are available for those who didn’t bring their electronics. The reception staff can arrange a whole host of water sports and tours if desired.

Days, and nights, at the Hotel Geejam Hotel centre on the Bushbar, one of Jamaica’s most exclusive. Aside from drinks, it offers a unique Jamaican-Asian fusion cuisine, carried through to a very high standard.

For those who really want to leave the property, the iconic Frenchman’s Cove is just one mile to the east.

Features very high-tech features

A surprising number of guests mention the high-tech features of the property, including Apple products and service, as a major positive. Though most guests come to relax, they are quite happy that they can stay connected and access their media on top class platforms.

Exquisitely beautiful location

Guests can't say enough about the terrific location and outlook. It is described as the perfect tropical beach hideaway, resulting in total relaxation. Also often mentioned is the proximity to Frenchman's Cove. It is less than a mile away, but Geejam has a car that will take you there if you wish. It is considered one of the top 10 most idyllic beaches in the world.

Terrific restaurant with unique cuisine

Though reviews are somewhat mixed, most guests love the food served by Geejam's Bushbar. It is a unique fusion of Jamaican and Asian cuisines, which seems to work for most guests.

Negative Reviews

Lacks consistently available pool

There is no public pool at Geejam. There is a pool at one of the villas, but this is only available if the villa is unoccupied.

Unattainable expectations

Geejam is so well known as a luxury paradise, and reviews are usually so positive, that it sets up expectations in some guests that they realise may be impossible to meet.

Long drive from Kingston Airport

Some guests point out that it is a very long drive from Kingston Airport, around two hours. Also, the roads are not in the best shape. So, guests arriving after a particularly long flight should realise that they still have some way to go before arriving in their private paradise.
