Positive Reviews

Ideal location for sightseers...

Travellers generally love the hotel's location, often commenting that most of the top sights are within a comfortable walk; the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Coliseum are about ten minutes on foot. The metro is about five minutes away, and will zip you to the Vatican, though avid walkers can get there on foot in about 30 minutes. Though Via Nazionale is a very busy street lined with fine shops and restaurants, guests are pleasantly surprised to find the building itself is fairly well insulated from traffic noise.

The comforts of Rome..

Guests rave about the spacious, tastefully decorated rooms, describing them as exceptionally clean, airy, and comfortable. The plush beds, choice of pillows, and large showers are highlights for many, and travellers who dislike living out of a suitcase will be happy to find plenty of clothing storage.

Five stars for the staff...

Travellers have given the staff many glowing reviews for their friendly, professional service. At check-in, visitors are delighted to be provided with a detailed list of restaurants, a map, and some suggestions regarding the "must-see" sights.

Negative Reviews

A matter of taste...

Though most guests describe the continental breakfast as delicious, some note that the menu does not change day to day, while others find there are too few "healthy" options, particularly in terms of fresh fruit.

Don't be late...

Guests warn future travellers that the reception desk is not staffed 24-hours, so it is necessary to make late check-in arrangements in advance. Also, allow extra time for the elevator if you are on a tight schedule; some have described the ride as "painfully" slow.
