About Conte Vittorio

Set in a converted 19th-century building, Conte Vittorio promises a unique base for a stay in Rome. Located between the Termini railway station and the Colosseum – just a twenty-minute walk away – this value guesthouse is ideal for exploring the historic centre.

The rooms are all en-suite and furnished in a modern manner with tiled floors and air-conditioning. Each room has a flat-screen TV and heating.

Conte Vittorio provides a communal kitchen to prepare meals in and a large terrace – ideal for eating al-fresco or enjoying a glass of vino.

If guests prefer to eat out they can try some traditional fare at the popular Le Caveau just off the Piazza Vittorio Emanuelle II or a spot of dessert at the well-loved Palazzo del Freddo Giovanni gelato nearby.

There are a couple of metro stations close to the guesthouse with connections to the Termini railway station and the historic centre. The Piazzo Navaro is three kilometres away.

Positive Reviews

Charming, great value accommodation

Guests rave about the great value for money you get at this guesthouse. Don't be fooled into thinking though that cheap rates translates into poor quality accommodation. Nothing could be further from the truth. Guests say the guesthouse is very nice and cosy, set in a lovely old building, is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. You have access to a great fully-equipped kitchen – ideal for making a meal instead of eating out. The big attraction, however, is the superb terrace, where you can sit out and enjoy a drink or some food at the end of the day.

Good accessibility

If you're travelling into Rome by plane or rail, this accommodation is quite handy, near to the Termini railway station with direct connections to the airport. Guests say you are near a metro station too and just a ten to fifteen minute walk to the Coliseum. You'll also find a few great restaurants in the nearby area.

Lovely hosts

The owners of the B&B are extremely friendly. Even though their English appears to be limited it doesn't stop them trying to be helpful and welcoming. Guests say they are really lovely and kind people.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast is nothing to write home about

Although the guesthouse does provide you with breakfast – it is not a great deal. Guests say it is just a coffee and a croissant served up at a local cafe.

Area is a bit sketchy

Guests are a bit unsure of the area around the railway station. It is safe to say that it is not the most pleasant of areas, even if guests admit it is not as dangerous as it might first appear!
