About Hotel Giorgina

Situated in a very convenient spot just blocks from the city’s main Termini Station, Hotel Hotel Giorgina is a small hotel offering basic accommodation with a 24-hour reception and a rare pet-friendly policy.

Rooms are available to accommodate between one and four guests. Each features a private bathroom, desk, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi so guests can stay connected.

The multilingual reception staff can assist with booking city and regional tours as well as luggage storage for those with a late departure from the city.

A simple breakfast is included. For other meals, the city offers a great culinary scene that offers not only Italian dining but many other cuisines as well. Nearby options include Trattoria Cecio and Nuova Stella.

Santa Maria Maggiore, a papal basilica dating from the 5th century, is a three-minute from Hotel Hotel Giorgina. It is well known for its stunning mosaics and breathtaking gilded ceiling. The equally lovely Trevi Fountain is just over a mile away.

Positive Reviews

Good location all round

Guests liked the location of the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the proximity to Termini Station was really convenient for those arriving in the city by train and those making use of the metro system. Secondly, guests typically felt comfortable walking to most of the major tourist sights apart from the Vatican. Lastly, guests spoke highly of the dining scene in the immediate area, saying they could find good meals at reasonable prices.

Decent value for money

Guests reported that they found the prices at this hotel to be lower than many others in the area. While rooms were said to be a bit dated, perhaps accounting for the lower prices, guests were happy that they could stay in the area for a reasonable price. They generally felt they received good value for money.

Friendly and helpful reception staff

Guests were impressed with the service they received from the reception staff, saying they were unfailingly friendly and always happy to offer help when approached.

Negative Reviews

Very noisy area

Guests reported that the road that runs past the hotel was particularly busy and that the windows seemed to do little to block out the noise. As a result, the rooms were quite noisy at night, which sometimes resulted in sleep disturbances.

Very small bathrooms

While guests were typically quite happy with the size of their bedrooms, the same couldn't be said about the bathrooms. They were described as being very small, with a number of guests finding them awkward to move around in.

Breakfast was disappointing

It was very hard to find a kind word written about the breakfast. At best it was described as “OK”, but guests typically found it to be too meagre to offer a good jolt of energy to start their day.
