Positive Reviews

No transport costs

The true value lies in the location and the ease with which you can go sightseeing without the need for taxis or public transport. Then you’ll note the lack of transportation costs. This is a major factor in making the hotel a good and economic choice. If you prefer, though; the metro is a five-minute walk away and the hop on/off tour bus is very popular.

Members of staff are great

Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. The reception people will readily supply recommendations on restaurants and other facilities in the area ... and beyond.

Flying high

Rooms are attractive and are extremely clean. They are, mostly, quite spacious too. The rooftop restaurant and bar are attractive and good value.

Negative Reviews

A disappointing start to the day

Breakfast is OK but pretty mundane and not in keeping with the hotel’s self-congratulatory publicity. You would think that, in this climate and setting, fresh fruit salad would be an obvious and easy inclusion. There is no sign of it.

Payback time

The cost of this great and popular location lies in the noise which can be intrusive, particularly at night when all you want after a day plodding around the landmarks, is a good night’s sleep

Time to turn talk into action

There are things that are wrong here and the feeling is that they should approach their maintenance programme with an energy that is equal to that employed in the publicity office. The shower leaks, the humidity is too much for the air-con to cope with and Wi-Fi is very hit and miss as well. On departure, they even have the cheek to charge for luggage storage. There is a bar here but the opening times are irregular and not known to many. Four stars? Not really.
