Positive Reviews

Roam and enjoy Rome’s city centre from this hotel

Rome’s grandeur and opulence is undisputed and reflected to a high degree at the friendly, authentically themed, Hotel Quirinale. Where better to wallow in a quality, idyllic Roman holiday break than here, right in the centre of the city.

Impressively and suitably named: The Quirinale

The highest of Rome’s Seven Hills, the Quirinale is a term sometimes used when referring to Italy’s President. Subsequently, the hotel is impressively named. A unique feature here is the outlook from some rooms on to the Quirinale’s lovely, tranquil, garden On occasions, you have to pinch to remind yourself that this is a bustling, city centre hotel!

You couldn’t wish for a more convenient spot

Walk from the hotel to The Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain (*take three coins!) or take a short car ride to the Vatican City. All these attractions and more are on the doorstep of Hotel Quirinale.

Negative Reviews

A room with a View … and more!

The gardens are really stunning and some rooms have a view. A few, though, have a ‘pheww’ too! It is the price you pay for staying in a rather grand, yet elderly hotel – with plumbing to match Consequently, there can be an unhealthy smell, not unlike that of cabbage, in en-suite areas!

It’s hard to sleep

Some rooms, mattresses and pillows are also feeling the passage of time There is a concrete feel leading to loss of sleep and a poor start to the following day.

Strangers in the night

Tired and jaded furnishings and decoration are further compounded by a lack of sound insulation The result is noise contamination from neighbouring rooms. Generally, if the hotel were to undergo a massive re-vamping, it would be quite spectacular.
