Positive Reviews

Very good breakfast

Considering that Italian hotels tend to have a poor reputation for providing a breakfast that international travellers appreciate, it seems this one was an exception. Guests of all nationalities were quite satisfied with the breakfast spread offered here. The buffet was said to be varied and include a number of meat items that were a hit with those looking for more protein than carbohydrate in the morning.

Terrific value for money

Guests were generally very happy with the value for money they received here. The hotel is some distance from the centre of Rome, with lower room rates to reflect this. Guests with their own transport, those who were prepared to take public transport to the city and those not needing to go into the city all felt this was a great trade-off that saved them money.

Friendly and welcoming staff

It was a rare review that didn't praise the staff here at some point. Guests found them to be exceptionally friendly and to offer a welcome that really made them feel at home.

Negative Reviews

Quite far from the centre of Rome

Guests mentioned that this hotel was quite far from the centre of Rome and it took a decent amount of effort on the part of those without a car to get into the city. This included a short bus ride or longish walk to the nearest metro station and then a metro ride into the city.

Cleaning could be hit or miss

Based on the reviews, it seems cleaning at this hotel was hit or miss. A number of guests reported that their room was not properly cleaned before they checked-in.

Problems with the lift

Guests allocated rooms close to the lift reported that they could hear it quite clearly from inside their rooms.
