Positive Reviews

Chic, upscale location in Rome.

Despite being very central, with many of Rome's major attractions within easy walking distance, the hotel is also in a refined, tranquil area of the city, where fine dining and designer shopping opportunities abound.

Beautiful, high-class hotel.

Guests comment on the overall beauty and class of the Rose Palace Gardens. From the understated but highly attentive service to the aesthetically-pleasing rooms, it's the kind of hotel to make you feel like you're in Roman Holiday.

Thoughtful touches and nice surprises.

Whether it's the complimentary chocolates in your room, or that celebratory bottle of fizz for a special occasion, the staff go out of their way to make your stay here something to remember fondly.

Negative Reviews

The breakfast is expensive.

If you haven't got breakfast included in your room rate, guests say that it seems overly expensive, and it feels like you have to eat a lot to get any kind of value for money. If you're not a big breakfast person, you might want to try a local cafe instead.

No facilities for making hot drinks.

To be fair, hospitality trays are not really part of the hotel culture in Italy, so you'd be hard pressed to find one in most hotels. Still, it's an annoyance for many guests, and if you can't live without your morning cuppa, take provisions.

The Wi-Fi is a bit erratic.

While many guests don't seem to have a problem with the free Wi-Fi provided, some have noted that the connectivity isn't always wonderful, so logging on may take you a few attempts at times.
