Positive Reviews

A quiet hotel in the centre of Rome

Guests will be pleasantly surprised when visiting the Hotel Victoria Roma The location is right in the historical centre of Rome, and as such, the main attractions are all nearby The hotel is situated at the city wall, and so is mostly sheltered from the bustling noise from the major road just the other side of the wall.

History and tradition make for a pleasant stay

The hotel was built in 1899, and has maintained it’s historical feeling through its recent renovations Each room has been styled to suite the era, meshed with modern times, and designed to give guests the comforts of home The concierge has been with the hotel for 38 years, keeping the Italian tradition alive.

Well-catered breakfast to look forward to

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and Hotel Victoria Roma takes special care to cater for all of its guests The wide variety supplied is their American buffet breakfast with dishes ranging from bacon & eggs, to breads and pastries Breakfast is included in the room rate, and at a small surcharge, breakfast can be enjoyed in your room instead of in the restaurant Gluten-free options are also available.

Negative Reviews

The clean and quiet hotel doesn’t lend for late nights

As the hotel prides itself on keeping the outside noise to a minimum, this rule has obviously been applied to noise emanating from indoors If guests are looking to continue their evening celebrations once returned from a night out exploring, the bar unfortunately cannot accommodate anyone after midnight This is easily rectified as mini-fridges in each room are kept well stocked and guests are welcome to enjoy the rest of their night in the comfort of their own room.

Four-star hotel comes with four-star menu prices

With any fine dining experience, the price tag is sure to reflect The meals served at each of the restaurants, Ristorante Belisario and Bar Ristorante & BBQ Sopra i Pini, although delicious and exquisite, have a heftier price tag This is not a problem though, plenty of nearby restaurants and bars surround the Hotel Victoria Roma, all within walking distance If guests do not wish to walk, a taxi rank is just down the road for ease of use.
