Positive Reviews

Friendly staff delivered breakfast to your door.

Most reviewers thought staff were friendly, helpful, efficient and even charming. However, some guests thought complaint handling, when the need for it arose, wasn’t great. Guests largely liked having a continental breakfast delivered to their door.

Convenient yet tranquil central location.

Guests were almost unanimous about the central location, describing it as perfect for sightseeing and shopping on foot. It was just five minutes’ walk from the nearest metro station and around the block from the Trevi Fountain, which was visible from one apartment. Many guests agreed the hotel was relatively tranquil for central Rome, perhaps due to effective soundproofing.

Comfortable beds and well-appointed rooms.

If you’re particular about your mattresses, it is reassuring to know that there was lots of praise from reviewers for the memory foam mattresses. Many guests also liked the décor and modern facilities like large flat-screen televisions and fairly reliable free Wi-Fi. Most guests thought rooms were well-cleaned.

Negative Reviews

Mixed views on rooms.

While plenty of guests called the rooms spacious, others said certain rooms were a bit cramped. Some reviewers preferred rooms in the main building as opposed to the nearby annex, where critics occasionally noted damp smells. There was further criticism of certain rooms that didn’t have a great view or lacked much natural light.

Some updating required.

According to some reviewers, an update might benefit the property. Occasional reviews cited plumbing problems, peeling paintwork and aging carpets. There was also no elevator, but staff reportedly helped guests with luggage.

Doubts over hotel status.

Some reviewers doubted if this accommodation fitted the description of hotel or wondered if it was just well-appointed rooms in a handy central location with breakfast delivered? The lack of common areas besides the lobby in the main building bothered a few critics.
