Positive Reviews

Great Location, No Frills Lodging

You'll find all the expected features at this affordable spot located conveniently within a short drive of all of Lancaster's favorites, including Sight and Sound, American Theater, Amish quilt shops, outlet malls and amusement parks. Word to the Wise: Call ahead when drafting your weekend to-do list; in Pennsylvania Dutch country, many places are closed on Sunday.

Friendly Staff

This team doesn't miss a beat when it comes to providing top notch customer service; don't hesitate to call the desk if there's anything you need. They won't mind a bit!

Basic Rooms

Rooms are comfy and adequate for the most part, with extra pillows and towels provided upon request.  Family rooms with up to three beds are handy for larger groups.

Negative Reviews

Needs an Upgrade and a Scrub

Decor is outdated and worn in some areas and you can see visible water damage in others. Bathrooms in some units are very small. Sheets don't fit properly even though mattresses are somewhat short compared to standard. Linens don't smell fresh and carpeting needs replaced or at least shampooed.

Noisy and Buggy

You may find footsteps above keep you awake if you get a lower level room. Some claim to have found bugs in their units, but it's unconfirmed exactly what kind. Might be a good idea to bring along some earplugs and bug spray. Best bet: Look at your room before paying if possible and check it out yourself.

Very Limited Breakfast

If you're expecting anything spectacular based on the website's "deluxe" continental breakfast description, you may be disappointed. Usually there is only cereal, bagels, English muffins, donuts, bananas and a few beverages. Don't worry too much - Waffle House is just across the street.
