Positive Reviews

No bother.

The well-appointed, professional staff is happy to accommodate most any request with a great attitude and warm smile.

Great architectural features.

If you are a history buff, you will love Brownsover Hall’s interiors. Exposed oak beams, cathedral ceilings, original fireplaces and large casement windows will really take you back in time.

Stunning views.

Large windows throughout the property offer stunning views of the grounds as well as lots of natural light in the guest rooms.

Negative Reviews

Tired decor.

Some of the guest rooms at Brownsover Hall, especially those situated in the out-buildings, feature dated decor. Also, many of the chairs are quite uncomfortable which makes it less-than-relaxing when you want to settle-in with a hot cup of tea.

The bar can get noisy.

If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy a cocktail in the evening, be aware that the bar can get quite noisy, especially on the weekends when there are weddings.

Slow Wi-Fi.

Internet speed in the guest rooms can be slow. If you are travelling for business, this could be problematic. But if you are just sending emails, you will probably not be as put out by this.
