Positive Reviews

Peaceful yet convenient location.

The guest house is surrounded by its own private gardens and overlooks a cricket field which provide a very peaceful and picturesque backdrop. Many appreciated being away from the hustle and bustle but also convenient being close to the main road and also a short distance away from the centre of Salisbury  with its numerous shops, bars and restaurants.

Clean and spacious rooms.

The hygiene levels were said to be very high with many guests stating that their rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained for the duration of their stay. Guests were also pleased to find that the rooms were of ample size, easily accommodating large and comfortable beds as well as desks and chests of drawers.

Breakfasts tick all the boxes.

Guests were impressed with the extensive range of food on offer at breakfast including cooked dishes and cold items. The freshly prepared breakfasts were described as well prepared and made from quality ingredients. Buffet items included lots of healthy options such as fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurts.

Negative Reviews

Room temperature issues.

The temperature of the rooms is centrally controlled and some guests who stayed here during the winter moths said that their rooms felt rather cold whilst others  who were here during warmer weather objected to their rooms feeling quite hot and stuffy.

Lack of facilities.

Some guests mentioned that they found it rather inconvenient not having a bar on-site where they could enjoy a few drinks and socialise which meant that they had to walk or drive into town in order to get to the nearest amenities.

Wi-Fi connection issues.

The Wi-Fi signal was said to be rather weak in the top floor rooms which meant that some guests had to take their devices closer to the lobby in order to connect.
