Great location

Although the odd guest remarks that the hotel is a little too far from downtown San Francisco, most love the Nob Hill neighbourhood The free bike rental and nearby cable car station make it super easy to explore, although guests also love that many attractions are within walking distance The views from some of the rooms are great too.

Attentive staff

The majority of guests speak highly of the team here at Stanford Court Some did feel their uniform was a little too relaxed but found their manners and the attentive service impeccable Get ready for a warm welcome to San Francisco.

Clean, comfortable and stylish

Guests have plenty to say about how clean and comfortable the hotel is and many describe it as stylish too There are very few exceptions to this, so you can pretty much expect to find the same.

Negative Reviews

No room service

Not being able to order food and drinks to the room was a disappointment to some guests There are no in-room minibars either, so if you want a drink other than a coffee or tea, it seems you’ll have to organise it yourself Furthermore, some guests lament the lack of a full-service restaurant.

High parking fees

Some guests felt that the daily charge levied for garage parking was a little high This includes the valet parking fee, but either way it seems like you’ll be paying out the equivalent of a cheap B&B stay for your car.

Noise from the cable cars

While the proximity of the cable car line was a real treat for some guests, others weren't too happy about the noise that came with it There are rooms which are out of earshot, so it’s worth asking for a quiet room if you're a particularly light sleeper.
