Positive Reviews

Sit And Have A Chat

The grounds of the hotel are lovely. You can easily sit with others, have dinner, a glass of wine, and just enjoy the charm and simplicity of the environment. Those not staying at the hotel are permitted to enjoy the historic grounds as well, which are well maintained.

Walk This Way

The hotel location is great. A vehicle is not necessary. You can easily walk anywhere in Old San Juan. The area is fantastic for taking a stroll and the area seems quite safe.

Happy To Attend Happy Hour

The hotel offers a happy hour during the early evening every night. They serve a wonderful selection of cheese and wine. Not only that, you receive free water, coffee, and fruit throughout the day. These are nice gestures that make your stay at the hotel even more memorable.

Negative Reviews

Do Vampires Live Here?

The rooms are somewhat dark; then again, this may determine where your room is located and how much natural sunlight comes through. Still, even the décor is somewhat demure in color. However, you can still sense the overall beauty of the hotel.

You Eat Out Inside The Hotel

The hotel restaurants are contracted out. So, if you have any complaints the hotel staff are not helpful in that department. The restaurant is slow as a snail when it comes to serving too. For example, a measly salad could take up to a half-hour!

It's The Traffic

If you are thinking about renting a car, you might want to rethink your decision. The traffic in the vicinity is terrible during the evening hours. It could take you double the time to reach your destination.
