Positive Reviews

Lovely Owners.

Very friendly owners are warm and welcoming, ready to show you politely to your room and answer any questions you have about the area.  Brilliant venue.  Child-friendly, family-friendly and gay-friendly.

Stellar Central Scarborough Location.

With the main part of town just down the road, you are ten to fifteen minutes' stroll from everything including cafes, nightlife and the beach. Situated smack in the heart of the shopping district, you reach the best of shops in seconds. Parking card/perm

Basic, Clean Rooms.

Although the decor in some rooms may not have been refurbished yet, they are all spotlessly clean. You may even have your choice of which room you would like, which is a lovely touch. Spacious with wonderfully cosy beds. Large, well-equipped bathrooms. A

Negative Reviews

Room Foibles.

A few defects have been expressed including lack of sufficient seating, towels (you may only get one bath towel and one hand towel to be shared between two guests), small and sparse soaps provided, insufficient toilet paper (you may want to bring a roll j

Shower Temp Shenanigans.

Good luck getting a consistent temperature for showering in some rooms; pressure is also hit or miss. If you intend to bathe a child or infant, take great care as it has been known to fluctuate significantly from freezing to scalding.

Some Compared It To A Hostel.

Some felt that the features matched that of a hostel rather than a hotel. Low on amenities, it offers the basics - no frills. Doublecheck on your booking before travelling; some have noted their online booking was somehow cancelled.
