Positive Reviews

Good Quality Accommodation

The guest room was found to be spotless and spacious, with a nice big bed, clean sheets and towels. The en-suite bathroom had a bath with good shower over. The shower worked well and shampoo, hand wash and towels are provided A room at the front will have a sea view, the higher the better. A guest comments:. “For the price we paid I don't think we could have done any better ”.

Well Placed to Please

The central location is perfect, for beach and centre. It’s less than a five minute walk to the beach and seafront or you can take the Tram down in about twenty seconds. Very quiet at night with plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby, in fact, for a hotel surrounded by pubs and restaurants it is remarkably quiet. The bar area is great.

Really Good Personnel

“Reception was great, and made us feel welcome, as did all staff that we met ” The staff were found to be polite, friendly and helpful with no exceptions remarked on For one couple the main reason to choose here was because they accept dogs.

Negative Reviews

Additional Waiting Staff Required

Breakfast was chaotic as they tried to accommodate guests but only clearing tables as people joined the queue for food.

Car Parking Problem

As in so many popular locations parking the car is an added hassle and cost. Fire alarms going off and not knowing if it was a real fire worried some guests.

Housekeeping Defects

The room wasn't cleaned or replenished, with holes and damp patches evident throughout the bathroom and main room The shower fell apart when guests tried to use it, and one of the reading lights had been snapped off. A bath had a tide mark, and soap splashes on the walls above from previous occupants.
