Central location in Seattle

Guests felt that this hostel’s location was perfect for an affordable option in the heart of Seattle. It was conveniently near the famous Pike Place Market, where traders throw fish around in a theatrical manner, and sights such as the Space Needle, offering unrivalled city views. There were also plenty of excellent eateries and public transport links nearby.

Friendly staff and on-site breakfast

The pleasant members of staff who run this hostel did a fantastic job, according to the vast majority of travellers. Guests were impressed with the standard of service and appreciated being made to feel welcome. Those travelling on a budget also welcomed the availability of a simple breakfast on-site.

According to feedback from guests, this hostel offered great value for money. When considering the good standard of the accommodation and the great location, guests felt that this hostel's usually competitive nightly rates made it hard to beat as a budget base in central Seattle.

Negative Reviews

Noisy at times

Given that this hostel is located in the heart of Seattle near Pike Place Market, it is unsurprising that it can get quite noisy outside at times. Moreover, travellers staying in the dorms were sometimes disturbed by other guests they were sharing with. Bringing along a pair of earplugs might be a wise move for light sleepers.

Busy shared bathrooms

The individual bathroom units are shared and guests mentioned that during the busiest times of day it sometimes became necessary to wait for access. This was sometimes frustrating for visitors during the height of the morning rush.

No lift

As this hostel doesn’t feature a lift, guests with lots of bags to carry sometimes found it inconvenient to have to lug their belongings up the stairs when staying on the top floor.
