Singing Sands Inn

A Special Place in the Eastern Prince Edward Island countryside, Singing Sands Inn is a 12-unit, three-star Kingsboro motel with a guest lounge and bar. The view looks out to Basin Head and the Northumberland Strait, a 2 km drive away where the white sands of the Singing Sands Beach, rated #1 in Canada, stretch all the way to the Eastern tip of the Island. The motel property slopes past the Kingsboro Labyrinth in the lower meadow and through a woodland trail to the Basin Head Lagoon Marine Protected Area, an attraction for naturalists and bird-watchers. The motel’s Labyrinth is the largest Classical (Baltic type) grass turf labyrinth in North America, over 160 ft. in diameter. Its spiraling path, nearing one kilometer, offers a meditative walk as the circuits wind to the center where prayers or wishes can be dispatched aloft by ringing the hummingbird bell!

All rooms share the pastoral view over a large lawn and the outdoor swimming pool. All have private bathrooms, air-conditioning and a small refrigerator. Wi-Fi access is available in most rooms and common areas. Complimentary continental breakfast is available 8:00AM to 10:30AM.
