Tranquillity and relaxation characterise Rihiveli The Dream, a secluded resort situated on the tropical paradise that is Malé Atoll. Guests can enjoy massages and spa treatments or simply laze upon the soft, white sands.

The resort is made up of a series of thatched bungalows, each one facing east or west, allowing for sunrise or sunset views. These simply furnished, cabin-style lodgings include a ceiling fan, terrace, and outdoor shower.

Fishing trips, snorkelling, paddle boarding, and water-skiing are amongst the water-based activities offered by the resort, while beach volleyball, soccer, and badminton are available for those preferring land-based pastimes. The resort also features a certified diving school.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the Lagoon Restaurant, which offers traditional dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. Meanwhile, drinks and stunning views can be found at Sunset Bar.

Rihiveli The Dream is a 50-minute speedboat ride to/from Malé, the capital of the Maldives, and Velana International Airport, with transportation arranged by the resort.

Great For A Three Star

The hotel is above standard for a three-star establishment. Rooms are clean and room service is fantastic. Each beach bungalow has two sun beds, a hammock, and soft, plush beach towels are provided. Moreover, you feel like part of a big family that's highly functional and one that enjoys caring for your needs.

Why Isn't This Automatic?

There is no air conditioning, but it is available upon request. It seems awkward that air conditioning would not automatically available in such a climate.

Missing, But Does It Really Matter?

There is no Wi-Fi or TV in the bungalows. You can probably do without the TV, but the Wi-Fi could become an issue.

A Privacy Spoiler

There is a small group of tourists brought to the island for several hours each day and you may feel that the privacy you enjoy so much at the facility is infringed upon.
