Good First Impression

A number of previous visitors to the hotel were specifically staying due to their meeting being held nearby or the hotel was actually hosting their meeting. Nice Area

Visitors to the hotel commented what a lovely area the hotel is set within remarking that it has really nice surrounds. Visitors also commented that the hotel provides a great shuttle service to local attractions within a 3-5 mile radius of the hotel which was very useful during their stay.

Negative Reviews

Non-Responsive Management

A number of people had issues with the lack of response that they received from management at the hotel particularly regarding their incorrect bill and being charged for things that they did not use or amenities that they did not purchase. A common bug bear was that it took some time to even get a response from management let alone have it resolved in a timely way.

Lacklustre Staff

The staff at the hotel did not rate very highly across reviews with a common theme emerging that the staff were somewhat disinterested, rude and impolite in relation to their dealings with guests.  The people who left comments were very negative in their accounts of their interactions with the staff.

Dirty Rooms

Some guests had the unfortunate experience of encountering the remnants of previous guests who had stayed in their rooms. Hair, food and crumbs were present in the bathrooms and on surfaces much to the disgust of those reviewers who left less than positive reviews about their experience.
