Positive Reviews

A good place to experience Malta

Although the hotel is not in the heart of Malta’s nightclub district, it’s close enough to walk and still have a room to retreat to when you’re tired There is a lot of shopping and many activities for families in the immediate area St George Beach and Pacevill are close by, and a bus connects St Julians with the rest of Malta.

A good value hotel

The rooms are clean and comfortable with good facilities The price is right here making it a good bet for budget travellers The hotel is on a relatively quiet street considering the area It’s well maintained, modest and safe.

Nice pool on roof

The rooftop bar and pool are draws for many visitors The 80-foot pool makes for a great place to relax in the afternoons, particularly if you’re travelling with children There is also a nice view of the distance coast.

Negative Reviews

Wi-fi might be sketchy

Although the hotel advertises itself as having the latest technology with wi-fi throughout the hotel, some guests claimed the Internet was slow and wi-fi was an extra cost If Internet is important to you, consider checking with the hotel a head of time or else plan to use one of Malta’s Internet cafes while there.

The décor is dated

The hotel is older and the decorations are out-of-date Some of the curtains are faded and stained Depending on your taste this could either be charming or depressing.

Food at restaurant is mediocre

If you’re a foodie, there are probably better places to satisfy your culinary urgings than here The food is not always piping hot and the selection is limited Some guests have called it boring and bland.
