About St George's

St George's is a family-run seafront guesthouse with a warm atmosphere and attentive service.

All rooms feature en-suite accommodations equipped with free toiletries. Flat-screen televisions are provided, along with facilities to make coffee and tea.

Guests needn’t worry about being disconnected from the world-wide web: St George's offers complimentary Wi-Fi access. Fans of room service are also in luck as this hotel offers in-room dining services.

A continental breakfast, that has been rated four stars by the tourist board, is included in the room rates during the Spring and Summer months. Although no evening meals are served, staff are more than happy to recommend nearby restaurants to guests.

The property is one-and-a-half kilometres from Hauteville House, where author Victor Hugo lived during his exile from France. Castle Cornet, a beautiful and sprawling island structure, is two kilometres away.

Positive Reviews

Rooms Are Clean.

Guests said that the rooms are kept very tidily at this bed and breakfast. Understandably, that characteristic helped guests feel like this was a reliable base to use during their time exploring the seaside.

A Wonderful Location.

Guests were really impressed by the great location of this property. Some said they were able to walk or take buses during their entire stays. You'll be able to get to the ferry port, town centre and restaurants on foot. There are also beautiful views from the property, because it overlooks the ocean.

Super Breakfasts.

The breakfasts served at this property are a very high quality and guests said they loved the choices available. There are some buffet-style selections to which you can help yourself, but cooked-to-order options are available as well. Expect the breakfasts to make you feel satisfied for hours after you eat.

Negative Reviews

Noisy During the Night.

Some guests said that between the road noise and sounds from the property's pub, they were disturbed when trying to sleep. However, guests usually found that the problem was completely solved when they used earplugs. Plan to bring some from home, or else just see if you're bothered and buy a pair if necessary after arrival.

Access to Upper Level Rooms Can Be Tough.

The rooms on the upper levels of this property are only accessible via steep stairs. Guests found that it was challenging to navigate them with suitcases. Also, the upstairs rooms are probably not feasible if you have mobility difficulties.

No Private Parking.

The property does not have its own parking, which was slightly frustrating for some guests. Although there is public parking nearby, there are time restrictions for it during certain hours. Night parking is not limited by those time specifics.
