It's right by Penn State

Guests who were visiting Penn State University of there for a game were thrilled with the location of this hotel. It is just a three-minute walk from the hotel to the campus, and also within easy walking distance of Beaver Stadium and Bryce Jordan Center, which many guests noted means you can avoid parking fees.

The staff will greet you with a smile

Previous guests general reported receiving excellent customer service during their stay. They noted that all of the employees they encountered were friendly and professional, and that they were able to accommodate special requests without undue fuss. Many guests also said that the staff went above and beyond for them.

It is kept perfectly clean

Negative Reviews

No microwave or refrigerator

A few guests were perturbed that the rooms do not have microwaves or refrigerators, amenities which are often commonplace in Hampton Inns and other hotel chains. They felt that not being able to store or reheat food was an unnecessary inconvenience.

The breakfast is not very exciting

Some guests were disappointed by the section of foods at breakfast. While no one seemed to think it was bad, many described it as simply being "adequate", and several reviews noted that they would have preferred more healthy items to choose from.

It can be a little noisy

Quote a few previous guests complained that the walls are thin and lack soundproofing. Some guests said they were kept up late at night by the sound of the neighboring room's conversation or TV, and guests on the street side also experienced traffic and trash collection noise.
