Wonderful surrounding countryside.

Hotel interior looks dated.

The communal areas in the hotel including the corridors have been described by some guests as looking quite drab and tatty. Some guests have also been critical of the rooms, pointing out that the furniture and fixtures, although clean and well maintained,

Poor soundproofing.

Guests complained about the partition walls being too thin as they could hear everything that was going on in the adjoining rooms preventing them from having a restful night.

Too many 4-legged friends.

This is a dog-friendly hotel however, some guests have objected to the amount of dogs present on the premises. There were also criticisms concerning hygiene due to the dogs being allowed to stay in the guestrooms.
