About Hotel La Torre

Set in a rustic seaside farmhouse, some rooms at Hotel La Torre enjoy views of the sea and the two surrounding national parks. The hotel is approximately four kilometres from the expansive Playa de los Lances.

At Hotel La Torre, rooms with wood-beamed ceilings have a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. Separately, a selection of apartments and houses is also available.

Bird watching is a popular pastime. More leisurely pursuits involve lazing in the lawned gardens and gazing across the sea to nearby Morocco. Adding to the glow are the hotel’s additional facilities. These include a sauna, hot tubs, and free parking.

Breakfast is complimentary. Fresh fish and meats from the Tarifa region form the basis for later dining menus. The delicious food and rooftop terrace areas ensure a perfect venue for social occasions.

The narrow streets of Tarifa Old Town are approximately nine kilometres away. Dolphins, whales; plus, of course even some tourists, are drawn to this Straits of Gibraltar region.

Positive Reviews

Chilled out services in southern Spain

Guests say that the services they receive are highly personalised and administered in the most effective and friendly fashion. Owners and staff are praised for ensuring that guests enjoy what is a chilled and relaxing environment.

Really appealing rooms

Reviews suggest the rooms are authentically designed and rustically appealing. They are compact, but this does not detract from their appeal. They are also very clean. Bathrooms are said by guests to be spacious and the shower pressure, essential in this heat, is said to be very good. The air-con rocks too, but in a good way; it is blissfully effective. Some guests are doubly pleased with the private terrace which is a facility in some rooms.

On a clear day, Tangiers is almost tangible

North Africa has an enduring and magical appeal and the mainland is easily visible from the hotel. Being so close, it is easy to get there and back within the day using the fast-speed ferry. The staff, guests say, could not be more helpful in arranging these and other excursions.

Negative Reviews

Slight road noise

Guests staying in rooms that face the road report an element of noise. It is not deafening but light sleepers might like to consider staying in rooms in another part of the building.
