As appealing in, as it looks from the outside.

This is a visually attractive hotel with a wealth of charm that spreads throughout the building. Rooms are clean, well furnished and equipped with all ‘mod cons’. They even include 4-poster options.

Setting the bar high.

Here we are in historic Tetbury with distinguished neighbours (ahem!) only a mile or so away. The town oozes quality and this finds its way into the hotel bar which is full of character with comfortable seating, open fire and views over the busy street. C

Impressive menus.

Breakfast and dinner menus are beautifully prepared, well presented and delicious. No problems with the food. Restaurant staff and others throughout the hotel, add dramatically and positively to the guest experience, overall.

Negative Reviews

I see you have a bee.

The late Scottish entertainer, Jimmy Shand, famously made this comment when presented with a thimble full portion of honey at his hotel breakfast It’s not quite that bad here but portions are a tad on the mean side!

Tetbury: where millionaire tax drivers live.

If you aren’t taking the car, make sure you get a quote for the journey before embarking on it via a local taxi firm. Charges are astronomical.

Lack of direction.

The car park location is a well kept secret. There are no directions for the visitor. You need to check in and then they’ll impart the detail you need. Another hurdle that could so easily be avoided!
