Positive Reviews

Staff members are just lovely

Many visitors have remarked on the positive, friendly and just downright lovely attitude of the staff members here. Evidently, everyone from the receptionists to the maids - even those who don't speak much (or any) English - go out of their way to greet guests warmly and help out in any way they can.

Free breakfast is rather good

Numerous guests have been pleased by the more-than-adequate breakfast offering provided here. The fact that it's available from 5am is a big plus too as it means those getting an early start (to catch an early flight perhaps) can get some fuel before setting off.

Guest rooms aren't super-tiny

A great many visitors have observed that, as well as being smart and clean, the accommodations here are also a fairly decent size (in Tokyo measures, that is).

Negative Reviews

It's quite far from Tokyo's chief attractions

Numerous guests have been disappointed by the fact that this hotel is actually quite far away from popular downtown haunts like Shibuya, Shinjuku and Chiyodait. Indeed, it takes roughly the same amount of time (30-45 minutes) to get to get to Yokohama as it does to reach the centre of Tokyo from this district.

Hotel is near a red-light street

Very few guests were pleased to find out this hotel is just a stone's throw from a street where ladies of the night ply their trade at various hours. Something to be mindful of if travelling with children.

No on-site lunch or dinner options

Numerous guests have been disappointed by the lack of an on-site lunch or dinner option. Happily there are loads of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity, including a plethora of convivial izakaya joints, which offer a wealth of options.
