Positive Reviews

A good location

This hotel is located in downtown Toronto and is a short walk away from Shelbourne subway station. This puts all quarters of the city within your reach which makes sightseeing a breeze. You are within walking distance of bars, restaurants and shopping and many of the most popular tourist attractions the city has to offer.

The neighbourhood is quiet

Although this guesthouse is centrally located, it is also on a quiet street which is great for those who are hoping for a good night’s sleep.

The price is right

This guesthouse is moderately priced, especially when compared with other accommodations in the downtown Toronto area.

Negative Reviews

There’s no staff on property

This basic guesthouse doesn’t have a reception desk nor does it have staff on premises. You must call the owner when you arrive in order to be let into the building and also call if you have questions or if any problems should arise.

There’s no coffee-maker on premises

There are no coffee facilities in the guest rooms nor is there a kitchen area on premises. This can be an inconvenient for guests as they must get dressed and get up and out in order to emjoy that first hit of caffeine in the morning.

Some rooms are smaller than others

Some of the guest rooms here are small and they are oddly configured. This can be problematic if you are travelling with more than one person, have a lot of luggage in tow or need extra room to manoeuvre.
