Worth the View

Foroyar boasts breathtaking views of the city and the ocean. With a location on top of a hill above the Torshavn city centre, guests say this is the one hotel you want to request the highest floor room possible.

From Breakfast to Dinner

Most guests enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet served at the hotel. Guests say the food is fresh, tasty, and the selection has plenty of variety to suit everyone's tastes. In addition to great food, the dining area boasts beautiful views as well. Guests also enjoyed the onsite restaurant, KOKS, complimenting the exceptional-quality food, memorable meals and excellent wine pairings.

The staff at Foroyar is described as friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They're always glad to assist you with whatever you need, be it addressing a concern or accommodating a special request. Dining Dilemmas

While the upscale restaurant KOKS gets great reviews, the downstairs bar and lounge isn't all that impressive. Guests found their menu to be very limited. Furthermore, KOKS is quite popular, and it may be hard to get a table - early reservations are highly recommended.

Up and Down

Though the Torshavn city centre is located only a mile from the hotel, guests say it is not an easy walk neither to or from the hotel, due to the hilly topography of the area. Fortunately, there are buses available nearby to take you to town as well.
