Close to the beach

Most guests of this property have loved its location, as it is only one block from the beach. This allowed guests to walk to the beach in the morning and spend the entire day enjoying the sun before walking back to their rooms again. Guests found this location to be extremely convenient.

Warm, accommodating staff

The majority of guests have been impressed by the staff at this hotel. Guests have found the front desk staff to be very accommodating whenever they have run into a problem and have mentioned that the housekeeping staff is warm and friendly.

Free parking

Past guests have appreciated the fact that the hotel offers free parking. Since pretty much everywhere in Tybee Island charges for parking, being able to leave the car at the hotel and then walk to the area's attractions helped guests to save money.

Floors aren't clean

Numerous guests have reported that the floors at this hotel aren't very clean. The floors don't have carpet, so the dirt really stands out on them when they haven't been cleaned in a while. Guests feel as though they should be mopped more frequently.

Bad smell throughout

There have been complaints about a bad smell that is present throughout the halls and in many of the rooms at this hotel. Guests feel like this is a musty smell that might be the result of water being tracked in from the beach and causing mould.
