Citta Antica is home to Antica Porta Leona & Spa, a property that’s only footsteps away from Juliet's House.
In the rooms, guests can slip on a bathrobe and a pair of slippers. They can also relax in front of the satellite plasma television. Beds are layered in premium bedding, and Wi-Fi is complimentary. In each private bathroom, there’s a rainfall showerhead, bidet, hairdryer, and free toiletries.
Antica Porta Leona & Spa features a full service spa that offers a variety of pampering treatments. There’s a sauna and steam room as well. The pool is indoors, and there is a fitness facility on the premises.
A complimentary buffet breakfast is offered each morning, and there is a bar/lounge on the premises. Room service is available during select hours.
Arena di Verona can be reached within six minutes by foot, and Plazza dei Signori is a five-minute walk down the road.
The central location is very much appreciated by everyone. At only 500m from Verona Arena and 200m from Juliette's house, the place has even more to offer. Within walking
distance you have the Plaza, many restaurants and other local attractions. There will be little time to stay in your room.
Luring spa facilities will truly pamper you
Many people come here precisely for their spa facilities. Whether you just ended a long day of sightseeing or are forced to stay inside because of a rainy day (which, by the way,
you won't regret at all), the pool, the spa and the steam room will make for a great spoiling session.
Heart-warming staff that guests are fond of
From the moment you book a room and receive surprisingly clear indications of how to get to your accommodation until you meet them in person, the people working at the hotel are
hard to forget. Smiley, friendly, and eager to literally draw you an itinerary on the map and guide you towards the best that the city has to offer - how can you not appreciate them?
Negative Reviews
Rooms' natural light is like a lottery
Some people complain that their rooms had high windows that offered no view. Others are dealing with just the opposite; staying on upper floors where the streetlight coming
through the windows seems to be disruptive. Either way, you can always go outside for a great view and you can always cover the windows to get the dark you are craving for.
Room size could pose some challenges, too
This complaint mostly comes from tourists who travelled alone, whose single rooms are surprisingly compact. Either way, one always has the sauna, the gym and even the local bar to
spend some quality time instead of just lying in bed.
Other small complaints may occasionally occur
This boutique struggles to please you, but it doesn't always get it right. And so, you will discover that you don't have an iron in your room and that you cannot make yourself a
cup of coffee or tea. At times, the pool might be a tad crowded (everyone wants to enjoy it) and the gym could use some more equipment.
