Positive Reviews

Very central location.

The Kings Head has the advantages of being a former coaching inn and being centrally located in the active town of Warrington. The Central Railway Station, the main bus station and Bank Quay train station are in close proximity, so getting around to nearb

Rooms and bathrooms well maintained.

The rooms and bathrooms have enjoyed a recent revamp and are done up simply but smartly. All rooms are provided with flat screen televisions and tea and coffee makers. The en suite bathrooms have a power shower and a bath. The rooms are clean and well mai

Lively atmosphere at the pub.

The pub here is a lively one with a well provided and vast bar area. There is a huge beer garden, walled and spacious, where live music events are hosted on many weekends. Car parking is free and space available is ample both on site and nearby.

Negative Reviews

Noise levels are high.

The live music events make the pub noisy, so guests who want to retire early face a problem as the show runs till the early hours of the morning. Added to this is noise from the street which is the disadvantage of being in a central location.

Area unsafe.

The area feels unsafe as well, as it is frequented by drunks and the homeless.

Food an issue.

Rooms provide basic facilities and food is a major issue as it is not available here. Continental breakfast is available in place of the advertised full English breakfast. Residents are allowed to drink at the pub only after the locals vacate it.
