The place is worn down.

There were a multitude of reports and accompanying alarming photographs of cracks and holes in the walls, broken toilet seats, and plumbing problems among other things. There are reports that the hotel will be undergoing much needed renovations soon.

The walls are too thin.

Many guests were dissatisfied with the inadequate soundproofing in the rooms. Several people complained of being able to hear their neighbour's TV and conversations. The biggest problem was the noise from the very lively hotel bar.
