Positive Reviews

A lovely home away from home

Most travellers are completely charmed by the property, and describe the decor and atmosphere as cosy yet elegant. Guests are also impressed by the exceptionally high standard of housekeeping, noting the guest rooms and common areas are kept immaculately clean. The beds are reportedly comfortable and the towels particularly luxurious and fluffy.

Friendly hosts with top-notch cooking skills

The owners of the property are widely described as very friendly and welcoming. Guests love being greeted with scones and tea or sherry upon their arrival, and note that these refreshments are always available in the lounge, a much appreciated gesture of hospitality. New visitors particularly appreciate the owners' knowledge of the area and assistance with sightseeing, and everyone raves about their breakfast. All of the decadent options on the menu are cooked "to perfection" and are thoughtfully presented in an inviting dining room.

A quiet location, not too far from Wexford

Guests who like a quiet setting enjoy the location, noting that the restaurants and shops in Castlebridge are within easy reach on foot, and Wexford is a ten-minute drive across the bridge.

Negative Reviews

But first, coffee...

Though travellers appreciate the hot beverages always on tap in the lounge, those who like a cup in bed are disappointed to find that the guest rooms do not feature a kettle or coffee maker. The owners kindly request that guests do not bring food into the guest rooms either.
