White Island Rendezvous

A quiet location, yet only minutes' walk from Whakatāne’s boutique shopping and restaurants, White Island Rendezvous has rooms to suit any traveller. The great outdoors is at our doorstep and there is the opportunity for guests to join a day trip to White Island, New Zealand’s only active marine volcano, or a shorter nature excursion to Moutohorā – a dormant volcano that has established itself as a wildlife refuge. Stroll down to Whakatāne Heads to watch the boats come and go or enjoy one of the local bushwalks to view the spectacular scenery of our bay. The motel complex is situated opposite the picturesque Whakatāne Wharf and within walking distance of the CBD and many fine dining restaurants.
