About Lagoons Townhouse

Situated in a very central position in Whistler Village, and just a few minutes’ walk from the lifts, Lagoons Townhouse at Stoney Creek offers self catering accommodation suitable for large families and groups.

Three and five bedroom units are available, and consist of two storey townhouses. They have a rustic feel, so you won’t forget that you’re in the mountains, but of course include all the modern conveniences you could need, from fully equipped kitchens to flat screen TV’s.

The main focus is on the very well equipped townhouses themselves, and there are few public amenities, but the building does, of course, have secure ski and board storage onsite.

Those not self catering have a wide range of excellent restaurants to choose from in the village. Italian food lovers will not want to miss Araxi Restaurant, one of the best in Western Canada.

Whistler Gondola is just a 10-minute walk from Lagoons Townhouse.

Positive Reviews

Very well equipped townhouses

Guests were very happy with the way the townhouses were furnished and equipped, saying that they seemed to include all they needed for their stay, with nothing overlooked. It was mentioned that the agents even supplied salt, pepper and other kitchen basics, which was a small gesture that clearly went a long way.

Excellent central location

Guests clearly liked the location of the townhouses, especially those travelling in winter. They were said to be pretty close to the lifts, so guests didn't have a long trek every morning when heading up the mountain. Guests also reported that there was a supermarket nearby, where they could stock up on supplies and that the entertainment of the village was just a stroll away.

Good onsite parking

Guests liked that the building had secure underground parking, which for winter guests meant that they didn't have to deal with snow and ice on their car every time they wanted to drive somewhere.

Negative Reviews

Check in a bit awkward

As with many rental properties, the check in is not at the same location as the actual accommodation. This seems to have caused a good deal of confusion, with some guests who did not have their own car upset that they needed two taxis on arrival. For others, it simply created confusion that they didn't need at the start of their holiday.

Uncomfortable beds

Far too many guests for comfort complained that their bed was quite uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the specific complaints were varied, so no guidance can be given whether those who like firm or soft mattresses would be happiest.

Stairs in the units

Guests mentioned that the units had more stairs than they expected, so it seems that they may not be suitable for those with serious mobility issues.
