Off-putting exterior.

Many guests commented on the poor state of the building which they said was in dire need of modernisation. This grade II listed building did not leave a good first impression on many of the guests who said that the facade would benefit from a coat of pai

Guests have complained about hearing noise from the adjoining rooms due to inadequate soundproofing. Many were kept awake by nosy plumbing, creaking floor boards and noise from televisions in the neighbouring suites.

Problems with showers.

The showers have been described as temperamental and old fashioned as many guests struggled to adjust the appropriate temperature. Hot water took too long to come through the shower and the pressure was said to be too low.
