Positive Reviews

A restful stay

Everywhere is spotlessly clean and nicely presented. Guestrooms at Bank Guest House are of a really decent size, meaning you will have plenty of space to spread out. The beds are large and comfortable too. After a good night's sleep, you can enjoy a freshly cooked, hearty breakfast.

Close to everything

This property is located in the middle of town, which means that it's easy to get to the local shops and pubs. You can also walk to the train station. If you are taking your car, then it is a simple drive to the ferries.

Welcoming people

Staff at this hotel are very friendly. They will greet you warmly and will be attentive for the duration of your stay without being at all overbearing. If you have any issues or queries, they will be more than happy to help you and they can give you lots of handy tips about the nearby attractions.

Negative Reviews

It can be quite a climb

If you aren't especially mobile, then be sure to request a room on a lower floor, as some guestrooms involve walking up a large amount of stairs.

Not the biggest

Some of the bathrooms are rather on the small side, which isn't in keeping with the size of the guestrooms. Still, they are clean and come with all of the amenities you will require.

Set your alarm

Some previous guests have stated that breakfast ends rather too early. Also, you might find that you have to make your choice for a cooked breakfast the evening before. While this is no big deal, it doesn't allow for much spontaneity.
