About Lainston House

Lainston House is a 17th Century building set amongst Winchester parkland.

Hotel employees are friendly and welcoming. On top of that, they'll do their best to make you feel important. They will remember the little details as they learn what your tastes and preferences are. You'll feel the personal touch here.

It's a great base.

The property is close to Winchester, which is a lovely place to visit. The cathedral is spectacular and there are lots of other historic attractions in the area too. Also, it's easy to reach the New Forest and South Downs from here.

While really tasty, breakfast at Lainston House certainly does not come cheap. Indeed, food generally is really quite expensive here, especially considering that sometimes you have to wait a long time for it, because the service can be slow. The bar price

Get ready for a tough climb.

There's no lift here. If you are up on the third floor it can be quite a challenge carrying all of your luggage up the stairs.

Not the hottest.

Sometimes the water in the showers is a little on the cool side. You might find it to be lukewarm rather than hot.
