Positive Reviews

Staff is approachable by all travellers.

From the owners to the staff in the reception area and restaurant, each person working here is friendly and approachable. Whether travellers are young backpackers or older couples with a family in tow, every guest will feel welcome during their stay.

Hotel has a high standard for guestrooms.

Most of the guests staying at the Glenburn Hotel find the rooms to be inviting and have everything they need for a short break. The well appointed rooms are also very clean from top to bottom, making it very easy for guests to be comfortable.

Home-cooked meals are a welcome amenity.

Whether guests stay in for the included breakfast or pay a little extra for dinner, every meal at the onsite restaurant is delicious. Items have a home-cooked flavour to them and the chefs are accommodating with dietary need and offer vegetarian options.

Negative Reviews

Onsite car park is on the small side.

While Glenburn Hotel has a dedicated space for guests to park in, it’s not a very large area. People with bigger vehicles or staying at the hotel during peak times might have to rely on street parking or nearby lots to store their vehicle.

Poor coverage for mobile phones and Wi-Fi.

For travellers who are used to staying connected while on holiday, this accommodation is not the best option. The free Wi-Fi signal is slow, and mobile coverage is also below what many guests are looking for.

Luxury showers are not as advertised.

The showers in the guestroom en suites are listed as a highlight of the accommodation, but guests don’t find that to be the case. Poor water pressure is found throughout the hotel, and the so-called luxury showers in the upgraded rooms are overall pretty
