Great location

The location of this lovely inn is one of its greatest assets say guests. It's located in the Oxfordshire countryside, in a picturesque setting with great views of the Thames. The bridge of Newbridge, which is a place of historical interest, is nearby. It's often availed of by tourists on the famous ‘Thames Walk'.

Friendly staff and service

Guests have been very impressed by the staff members here at The Rose Revived. They are friendly, helpful and deal with any issues which the guests may have easily and quickly. One staff member, Emily, has been mentioned as being really helpful and caring. The customer service ethic here is great and although the hotel is smoke free, the guests who are smokers are very appreciative of the designated smoking area. There is also great appreciation for the clean, spacious, comfortable rooms here.

Great food

The food served in the restaurant here is highly praised. People who come here to eat find the cuisine very tasty and enjoyable and great value for money. The menu is quite extensive, with plenty of choice and beautifully presented.

Drain smell

A few of the guests have complained of a smell in the room which seem to come from the drains.

Room overlooked

Recently a guest was annoyed after booking into a room and finding out that it had not been properly cleaned. The guest complained to the management who admitted that a mistake had been made and apologized immediately for the oversight.

Bar slightly expensive

One guest who used the bar felt a bit annoyed that she was charged 70 pence for a dash of cola in her drink, when other bars charge around 25 pence.
