Positive Reviews

One of 'Worthing's originals'.

There's no ‘chill factor' because everything is lovely and warm, even during the coldest months of the year. Chilling out is another matter entirely because this is a traditional B+B where you can relax, secure in the knowledge that you are being well cared for. The sea is a couple of minutes walk away and you can easily walk in to the town centre. Perfect!

Spotlessly clean and very welcoming.

The epitome of a traditional, English B+B! You feel as if you are entering someone's very attractive and clean home. *You are! As with all family-run B+Bs, there's flexibility. No hotel ‘huffing and puffing' here. If you arrive earlier than agreed, your room is probably sparkling clean and ready anyway.

A message to ‘porridge haters'.

Lots of people just hate the stuff. However, stay here and you are bound to change your (bag piping) tune. Breakfast is a joy and if you go for the porridge, it's a true revelation. You'll be hooked!

Negative Reviews

Parking isn't all that easy

You are limited by advertised restrictions, so whilst parking is available, this isn't the case at all times. Yes, they'll give you a permit but just try finding a space!

Non-en-suite rooms are a 'no-no'.

Everything is very nice and the owners, fantastic. BUT, we all expect ‘en-suite' these days and when we don't get it, we think back to those very basic boarding house holidays. The place is now … just a little bit … dated.

Breakfast: small, but beautifully formed.

Breakfast is prepared and served perfectly. Portions though, are a little on the small side.
